This module details of the scientific knowledge and technical processes behind the exploration and production of oil and gas in general and in Qatar. A section about the Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) and Gas-to-Liquid production in Qatar is also explored.

This module explores a history of oil and gas discoveries in the Gulf region including in Qatar. A history of the oil and gas industry in Qatar mentions the experience of some of Qatar’s early laborers and Qatar’s involvement in ​​OPEC and the GECF.

This module shares the insights gained from interviews with engineers and managers of oil and gas companies (both multinational and national) in Qatar. A particular emphasis is placed on female employees and their experiences in the industry.

Expatriates from many countries participate in the development of the oil and gas industry in Qatar. This module describes the roles and contributions of Southeast Asian and South Asian workers in the industry who work in national and international firms.

This module examines the sustainable energy initiatives taken by several oil and gas companies in Qatar. These initiatives are examined using the seventh (Affordable and Clean Energy) and thirteenth (Climate Action) goals of the UN SDGs as well as the QNV 2030.
